Tycoon Lake Fishing Report 6-27

Hit the south dam at tycoon. Bluegill fishing was slow with only about 10 keeper size fish. Lots of lost lures...

Water was warm and clear and I think it was about time for the fish to be off the beds...

Anyways Dad happened to be reeling in a bluegill and I hear a "O sh!t" lol so I run down to see the ruckus here is this 4lb bass chasing his gill around in only a few inches of water... So he lets the bass have quite a bit of line and lays into him... Brings it up to the bank and the bass spits out the gill.

Later on Dad gets me a gill and I use the right hook, I let that baby flap around on top and it doesn't take long for the bass to come back, I see a shine and then the line goes out... WHAM bass on..

I though about it but we were only around for a bout an hour or less
