Hello all.
Hello all, I just thought I would post a topic introducing myself. I hope to run into people who live in my area or fish in my area. Anyway, my name is Derek and I live in Dover (Ohio of coarse). I fish in a number of different locations (Local City Park Ponds (Dover and New Phila), Local Private Ponds, Tuscarawas River, Atwood Lake, Tappan Lake, and Sugar Creek.) My target fish range from any catfish, largemouths, smallmouths, red eyes, saugeyes, walleye, and pike. I am up for catching anything that puts up a decent fight. Let me know if you live or fish in the area.

Yeah caught my first pike (4.5 lb) on a hotdog trying to catch catfish on a catfish tournament. Caught another pike trying to catch smallies in the river on a Rooster Tail. Was jigging a white twister tail at the local dam trying to catch pike and caught my first walleye (4 lb). Same day I caught my first saugeye (1 lb) on a tan Zoom tube. Most of the time you can't pick what fish hits your bait. Like the hotdog pike, I thought I had a big cat on the line.

Re: Hello all.
Thanks, OneMoreCast, I decided to try other bait for catfishing then nightcrawlers and chicken livers. Been bringing hotdogs every time I go catfishing since then.

Re: Hello all.
Got a 14 inch white bass on a piece of bread. 41 inch muskie ate my bluegill and caught him. Funny stuff.
