East Harbor State Park Beach

Great news to share about a new beach on the way at East Harbor State Park,near Poart Clinton, Ohio. The Ohio Department of Natural Resources has recently allocated $50,000 to complete a study of what caused the erosion of 90% of the 2.8 mile barrier beach in the early 70's, and options on restoring it. Beachaid-Eastharbor is proud to announce that 4 yrs of lobby work have begun to pay off with the study portion to be completed this summer, a public review phase next fall, funding and construction will proceed as soon as all of you let ODNR know that it is important to bring the beach back to the way it was when we (Ohio ) bought it in 1949.
