One of the Better days!!! 2 F.O. Gills!

Well the harbor never stops. I talked Dad into heading down there and unable to go to my normal spot we parked on the causeway and it wasn't long until we hit a hot spot and I mean not long as in, first walk down spot. Originally we didn't bring the stringer, just mainly trying for bass but on my first cast a gill was biting my spinnerbait so thats normally a good sign. Dad throws his out his waxy and within a minute he managed to bring in two eight inch fish! So man if that didnt make him go get the stinger After that it was just big gill after big gill with a few small bass and smaller gills here and there. After we loaded up our stringer with 30 gills we decided to go for bass and got a few more, probably ten all night. All I can say is the shore fishing doesn't get any better!!!

Nice, I didn't make it to East Harbor, I changed reservations due to the weather. I'll be there no matter what this Friday, and Saturday. You will have to point me in the right direction there Jonny as to where to go. I'm not real familiar with the harbor. I don't need your hot spot just an approximate area. Is the area on the way to the beach any good? Not sure if I am going to bring the little boat, I'm leaning toward probably not. I'd be happy with just some gills.

If your just camping walk the rocks anywhere and throw out your waxworm and just cast until you find a bed

Thats what we did and bass are all through the weeds

Start as far north as you can (closest to causeway) and work towards the launch ramp

Thanks, I hope I do run into you. I don't know what time I'll be there but I"ll have my son, wife and lab with me so I shouldn't be hard to miss. Congrats on the two fish Ohio's, thats pretty damn impressive.
