Made A Couple Outings-Bass Cats

Been cat fishing a couple times on the portage.. Fishing the night bite. Fairly slow but nice fish also spotted this hawk the other day....

Grotz-Guide and I hit the bass pond the other day. Fished the normal jig and worm-NO BASS!!!!!!!!! Then GG tried throwing a strike king crank and got this nice smallie.

Then we wanted to try for this big cat a 14lber had been caught twice rently so threw out a hot dog and figured well only the cat will bite this if we throw a gill out there a bass will hit it too and it didn't take long for me to get this nice smallie about the same as his... The amt of smallies is awesome in this pond now we are catching more than we thought were in there and nice ones too!

Also got this bass on a gill and GG got another LM on a gill 2



Nice but actually slow day at the pond. I think it has been getting fished quite a bit making the fish a lil smarter...

pond fishing is great for a easy bite..............i remember when i was a kid there was about 4 good ponds within walking distance of my house and i used to catch a ton of 4-5 lb bass out of them !!

i couldnt see the hawk in the picture........i must be blind !!!
