FISH OHIO....SAUGEYE..MY FIRST ONE

went crappie fishing today at a johnny appleseed pond in lima; almost froze to death, but it was worth it!!! lost 4 crappies at the bank ( yeah, i suck) , but landed 2. then caught a 23 1/2 inch saugeye, my first one ever! i was surprised to see fish ohio was only 21 inches. i see why every one chases after them at indian lake, they are awesome. weighed in at 3 pounds. i thought i had a catfish on at first, he rolled and went deep, on an ultralight it took a little doing to get to bank, but when i lifted it out of the water and he spread his gills, what an awesome head they have. i'll be going back tomorrow...

I know the deer were movin' guess the fish were too! I have yet to get me a saugeye and will be tryin my luck for them this fall/winter! That is one and congratz! I would like to see a picture of that beast lol from a pond is even cooler! Good Luck tomorrow!

Lucky you I've sent 8 or 9 F.O. for Dad and I and have only gotten one pin!

i don't know. registered online, and the paperwork that came with the pin said online registering will get you your pin the fastest.
