2 Days Weekend Perch Report Kellys

First off had an undecided mind on where to go on Saturday. Ended up think East side of kellys. So we headed straight there about 32 ft. of water. Plenty of boats around. It was slw but decent. The radio sounded bad but we decided to try other places. Moved South of kellys and east of the ferry channel. Caught one fish here within 20min. Then there was a monstorus pack by the light house. Tried it there came up empty. Ended the day with 32 fish. Decent size less throwbacks than there have been.


Today Sunday we heard Catawba sucked so decided to try around kellys again. Went to the lighthouse where there was another big pack. Decided there was nothing doing so went where we heard a good report from the SW tip of kellys in only 20ft. We got there the action was slow but the fish were big avging 9in. Got about 15-20 here and headed to gull shoal. got there and the bite was a steday pick until the last 15 fish or so. Great size bites were light. Plenty of boats in the area. Good Luck

LOL That was a coat guard boat and about 20mi. away you cold see "Davis Bess" a nuclear power plant that supplies clean power for a lot of palces! Yes it does make you a bit nervous some times
