We managed about 25-35 saugers a night fishing from 5-9pm. Have gone a few times since the cool down and nothing. The technique was pearl or milk salt/pepper colored 3" twister tails on 1/16 and 1/8 oz jigs any color. Tipped the jig/twister combo with a minnow riding piggyback. The retrieve was painstakingly slow almost not moving. Don't even use your reel handle for this one. Just a super slow ... On 4-10 the river had dropped maybe 9 feet and was much more fishable. Of corse it was a shoulda been here yesterday thing i come to find out. Still this is one of the best hybrids i've gotten to date. 1/4 oz pearl/pink head, 3 inch sassy shad in pearl, med. fast retrieve, right near the mouth of the river.
