Yesterday I used black n gold fly jig, and today was chart. and black tipped with mags. Water is very clear. I will give it another shot tommorow. All the fish caught were on the small side. Caught one yesterday, and 2 today. sorry pics are not that good, but I was by myself the one day, and only had a cell both days. However, I do like to fish Mad River for Brownies. I use an ultralight spinning rig and I throw little jigs and rebel crickethoppers and the like, fitted with a single hook in the back. Flathead you're dead on when you talk about them smacking anything yellow, they destroy that color. So here's what I'm thinking..... Fish the stretch between 36 and 55, go to Crabill's for lunch, eat 10 burgers. No better way to usher in spring. Any ...
