The fishing was slow for just about everybody who were using rooster tails and grubs. I was using a Wayne's Jig, and I absolutly destroyed them all day, they were all good enough size to clean as well. I was fishing the jig with no tip on a slip bobber ranging in depths from about 2½' to about 4' later in the day. I ended up with 30 fish total, 27 gills and 3 small bass. Heck of ... I watched a guy pull an 18" walleye out also... fishing is starting ... Most of the time it is hit and miss, but I was suprised to fish the bridge area at the entrance to Cedar Point just east of where you make the turn on to the causeway and tried minnows no weight and a float. Fished yesterday about 1 1/2 hours and caught two nice crappies and that was it. Went back this morning and gosh was it cold, everything kept freezing up, but was able to bring home 5 good ...
