Learned alot though from a few old timers there. Instead of staring at the line they had pop cans filled with small rocks and would attach it to the line by the top of the pop can by the spool and when a fish would hit the pop can would spill over and make a nice rattling noise. I caught this 47 while fishing alone. I spaced out my procedures for the camera timer and just took this pic. My grandsons found out why we fish at night. I finally dug out my tripod and was able to get this fish in front of the camera in 15 seconds I hope to have a better year next year.
