It's great because this lake gets hardly any fishing pressure, and not many people know that the lake gets stocked yearly with walleye. Learning alot and becoming a better fisherman. The skunks are hard to come by now. Been catching eyes here and there at medina lake. So far biggest being 27in. Caught a couple 5lb bass, and some really nice 10+lb channels. Freezer is getting jam packed with fish. Caught 18 small gills and was able to sort 9 border line keepers.

Using a white tube jig tipped with maggots and working it along side a fallen down tree with 8lb test fluro carbon. Ended up with 3 nice chrome, between 2 guys. Buddy was just using a black n gold fly with maggots. Off route 18 in medina for all you northeat ohio fisherman. set up 2 poles for cats. Threw raw shrimp at them. If anyone wants to know my exact set up send me a PM. Other 2 poles were used for gills and crappie. Ended up with 5, ten inch crappie, 22 keeper gills, only kept the 7 inch and above gills. My buddy threw a couple 6 inchers on the stringer. Ended up getting my limit in about an hour. Weather was horrible so there were about ten guys fishing the lake. I was using a weighted bobber about 5 feet down wtih orange power bait. I was using a stump jumper (very similar to a roadrunner). Both crappie were over 9 inches and one was 14.5. I went to rocky river on sunday morning and really got into them. I was using a 1/32 oz black n gold fly jig tipped with about 5 maggots. I was fishing about 5 feet down right at the boat launch. I was able to land 2 in about 2 hours. If you get there after 10 am dont even bother. ...
